These blue shoes seem to suit me well, When I feel like hell, As I do now that you're gone Lost and lonely since you stopped caring, I've been wearing my new shoes. I've been wearing my blue shoes. You and I made the perfect pair, It don't seem fair, I loved you more than you know. Sorry I'm such a sorry state, But while I wait for some good news, I'll be wearing my blue shoes. Don't feel like walking strong, Shufflin' along on my way home. Trudgin' down that shopping street, Where we used to meet. But I ain't buying. I'm wearing my blue shoes and crying. These blue shoes seem to suit my soul, Since you shot that hole. Since you shot that hole in my heart And if I wind up on the sidewalk bleeding I won't be needing my new shoes Won't be needing my blue shoes. These blue shoes seem to suit me well When I feel like hell, As I do now that you're gone Lost and lonely since you stopped caring I've been wearing my new shoes I've been wearing my blue shoes |

1)Belfast
2)Shirt Of A Ghost
3)Love Cats
“The Paintings on the walls of release
are colourful but they are no Matisse”
un saluto

I’ve got a ticket to the fast city
Where the bells don’t really ring
Getting off the plane the cold air
Rushes Like bullets through my brain,
And I’m divided
Between penguins and cats,
But it’s not about what animal you’ve got
It’s about being able to fly,
It’s about dying nine times.
Walked on Broadway,
Going up to Falls,
Where the old man I used to know,
The paintings on the walls of release
Are colourful but they are no Matisse.
And I’m divided
Between penguins and cats,
But it’s not about what animal you’ve got
It’s about being able to fly,
It’s about dying nine times.
It’s about being able to fly,
It’s about dying nine times.
Love Cats
Written by Gallup / Smith
Let’s go and throw
All the songs we know
Into the sea
You and me
All these years and no one heard
I’ll show you in spring
It’s a treacherous thing
We missed you hissed the lovecats
We missed you hissed the lovecats
We move like cagey tigers
Oh-We couldn’t get closer than this
The way we walk
The way we talk
The way we stalk
The way we kiss
We sleep trought the streets
While everyone sleeps
Getting bigger wider and brighter
Let’s go and throw
All the songs we know
Into the sea
You and me
All these years and no one heard
I’ll show you in spring
It’s a treacherous thing
We missed you hissed the lovecats
We missed you hissed the lovecats
We’re so wonderfully wonderfully wonderfully
wonderfully pretty!
You know that I’d do anything for you…
We should have each other to dinner huh?
We should have each other with cream
Then curl up by the fire
And sleep for awhile
It’s the grooviest thing
It’s the perfect dream
Into the sea
You and me
All these years and no one heard
I’ll show you in spring
It’s a treacherous thing
We missed you hissed the lovecats (lovecats)
Shirt Of A Ghost
Written by KATIE MELUA
Mary at home, as always, was ironing a pale shirt of a ghost
Tryining to straighten out every crease of his being and the emptiness where she was lost.
Ten minutes before she had her man drying in the summer’s breeze.
Their love had been helped by a little red peg but it was just a moment seized.
‘Cose he flew away, on a memory where most people fade away.
But now she’s left with the shirt of a ghost.
Yeah, she’s left with the shirt of a ghost.
Ten minutes before he run away to a stranger’s hands and feet
And as it turned she saw them play among the soap, water and heat.
‘Cose he flew away, on a memory where most lovers fade away.
But now she’s left with the shirt of a ghost.
Yeah, she’s left with the shirt of a ghost.
Ten minutes before the shirt was stained in anger and greed
And it smelled of revenge from a broken heart and the shirt his body no longer did need
‘Cose he flew away, on a memory where most bodies fade away.
But now she’s left with the shirt of a ghost.
Yeah, she’s left with the shirt of a ghost.
‘Cose he flew away, on a memory where most lovers fade away.
But now she’s left with the shirt of a ghost.
Yeah, she’s left with the shirt of a ghost.
She’s left with the shirt of a ghost
